Southern Weekend - Snow Canyon - Pioneer Names

On Jeff's weekend off we went to Cedar City to see Holly and have some time together. Sunday we went to Snow Canyon. This little hike takes you along the bluff (and past some fun photo opps) to a half arch half away up the side. You can scramble up to the top and see where more than 100 years ago pioneers in the area wrote their names in axle grease. It was windy and it made it a little cold, but it was incredibly fun. Sunny and beautiful all the same.

Holly and Jeff making their way up to the names (you can see them in the upper left)

Holly waving from as close to the names as she dared to get :)

Jeff Thunder Kitty wants a picture in the hole in the rock too.

This is one of my favorite pics. I love the pose. My husband is such a goofball.
I told them to just lay back on the rock.
