Yellowstone Part 1 - Geysers

So Geyser Hill by Old Faithful was a favorite, and there was one thing that was particularity interesting. There is one geyser, Grand Geyser, that erupts about every 12 hours. And we happened to be there when it was supposed to erupt... in about a 2 hour time frame. So we got there, and we waited. And waited. And wondered in the hot, hot sun that was draining us of our resolve, if it would be worth it. But we were afraid if we left, we would miss it. And then all of that waiting would have been in vain.
And so we continued to wait. And do you know what? We saw it. We saw this system of 3 geysers erupt. And it was amazing. And it was one of the favorite things that the kids experienced. The walk back was exhausting, and everyone was super done. It was overall quite exhausting. But in the end, completely worth it.

Here is Old Faithful. Predictable, but not nearly as cool as Grand.

Morning Glory Pool (named for its resemblance to the flower of the same name) is at the end of the boardwalk on Geyser Hill.
